Events and Announcements

Our Columbia Missions team has safely returned home. Though some illness was encountered during the trip, the trip was a wonderful success. Praise the Lord. Thank you for all the prayers extended to our team’s visit.

It is time for summer activity planning. Make sure your plans for the kids include this year’s VBS week from August 5th thru the 9th. This year’s theme is The Great Jungle Journey, An Epic  Cruise From Genesis to Revelation. Mark your calendars! More details to follow as the week approaches.

The

The Helping Hands Ministry is an outreach of Calvary Chapel which provides temporary assistance for those in need. Potential services include babysitting, meals, house repairs, special events, transportation, prayer, snow removal, house cleaning, hospital visits, house moving, and others. This ministry is in need of additional volunteers. Prayerfully consider becoming involved. If you are interested, complete and submit the form available in the church lobby.

Quilting Group

This group of ladies meet Monday mornings to sew quilts and gifts for our supported missions.  There is an abundance of donated yarn and fabric available for all that would like to attend and help.  See the church bulletin or contact the church office for further details.

Marriage Maintenance Dinner

Once a month ,Calvary Chapel hosts a Couples Dinner designed to encourage relationships. Married couples and couples approaching marriage are invited to join.  The cost is $20/couple, and sign-up is required to ensure enough food is available. See the church bulletin or contact the church office for the next scheduled date.

Sterling Heights Home Fellowship

The Sterling Heights Home Fellowship is held Saturday once a month, at 6:30pm.  Fellowship time includes a potluck dinner and bible study taught by Pastor Clayton Selestow. See the church bulletin or contact the church office for the next scheduled date and location.

Corporate Prayer Meeting

Calvary Chapel holds a corporate prayer meeting on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month.  The meeting is held at 11:45am, in the sanctuary, after the morning service. We begin with some informal praise & worship, and then lift up the needs of the body here at Calvary, as the Lord leads.  All are welcome to attend.

Men's Prayer Breakfast

The 2nd Saturday of every month, at 9am, the men of Calvary Chapel gather for breakfast, fellowship and prayer. Come on out and enjoy time with your brothers in Christ!

Women's Bible Study

The Women’s Ministry has started the Spring Women’s Bible Study with a study called  “Knowing God More.” Enjoy women’s fellowship while gaining a deeper understanding of the bible. Study sessions are held at the church, every other week on Tuesdays, at 9:30am or Thursdays, at 7:00pm. Check the church calendar for exact dates. Study materials are available in the church lobby.
