Events

Rooted Young Adults

Young adults (18yr-30yr) are all welcome to gather as we worship together and hear God’s Word. We meet at the church building on Thursday Nights at 7 pm

Young Adults Discipleship

Discipleship classes for young adults and new believers (ages 16 – 21). Women and men will meet separately every Sunday, after service, at 12 noon. The group is currently using the book Growing Strong, in God’s Family

Love Remains

Every other month on Sunday, at 1:45am, after service, a group of men & a group of women meet to pray, read the word and discuss the many struggles we are facing.  Topic include: anxiety, depression, trauma, unforgiveness, hormone imbalances, panic attacks ADHD, Immune hyperactivity, chronic fatigue, grief etc. See the church calendar for the specific Sunday scheduled.

Women's Bible Study

The Women’s Ministry Women’s Bible Study has ended for the 2025/2026 year. A new study will be announced later in the year for the 2026/2027 study. 

Men's Bible Study

A Men’s Book Study, led by Pastor Bill, meets on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month, at 9am. The meetings on the 2nd Saturday of the month will begin immediately after the Men’s Breakfast. The current study is with the book The Making of a Man of God, Lessons from the life of David, by Alan Redpath.

Women's Prayer Meeting

Ladies of the fellowship meet, informally, to lift up their needs, and the needs of the entire Body of Christ, to God! The ladies meet Tuesdays, at 9:30am, twice per month. See the church calendar or contact the church office for the next scheduled date.

Men's Prayer Breakfast

The 2nd Saturday of every month, at 9am, the men of Calvary Chapel gather for breakfast, fellowship and prayer. Come on out and enjoy time with your brothers in Christ!

Sterling Heights Home Fellowship

The Sterling Heights Home Fellowship is held Saturday once a month, at 6:30pm. See the church calendar for scheduled dates. Fellowship time includes a potluck dinner and bible study taught by Pastor Clayton Selestow. See the church bulletin or contact the church office for location details.

Quilting & Crocheting Group

This group of ladies meet Monday mornings to create quilts, and sew or crochet gifts, all for our supported missions.  There is an abundance of donated yarn and fabric available for all that would like to attend and help.  See the church bulletin or contact the church office for further details.

Announcements

The women of the church will be having a Calvary Chapel Women’s Retreat September 18 – 20, 2026. The retreat will be at the Maranatha Camp and Conference Center, in Norton Shores, MI. Pick up a flyer in the lobby for more information on costs. Registration will begin closer to the event.


The church continues to have opportunities for service in all our ministries, particularly the Children’s ministry. It is requested that all pray for guidance on how best to serve the fellowship. Our Ministries page has summaries of each ministry. The leaders for each ministry can be contacted to provide additional information and get you started in your participation.
